I think a cool drill to have on here would be a modal exercise of some type.
Something along the lines of having a specific key, example, A aeolian, and you need to find the mode name of a interval of the scale, example, the 3rd, so the answer would be C ionian.
or if your in B dorian, finding the 4th... E mixolydian
I don't know if i explained that well, but i think it would be a good exercise for improvisors to practice so they can figure out which modes they are working in, as opposed to just memorizing scale patterns.
