Few suggestions

First of all, I must say you're doing a great job, keep it up!

There are only 3-4 items in my wishlist which will certainly improve this app:

"Piano Keys" exercise:
* show the next 2-3 notes / measure to play - will help develop reading in advance
* show different kind of notes on the scale - encountering other than a full measure note can be confusing when switching to real note sheet
* (if the above is implemented) check the time pressed on the button and how it is different from the note type shown.
* (if one above was not implemented) wait for the note type time before going to the next (after the user pressed the key, wait the time of which the note represent).

Hi Gil,
We're thinking along some of the same lines....
If you check out the "Paced Note Names" drill, the rhythm drills, the piano keyboard drill using MIDI (which you can do in the standalone software)... if we put these pieces together and updated the rhythm handling to be a bit smarter, it's easy to imagine a drill where music scrolls by and it analyzes how well you perform it.

It's probably something we'll do down the road -- though it really requires a MIDI keyboard, I think. It's hard to imagine using the mouse to click the little on-screen keyboard to perform a melody while the notes go scrolling by... you have to take your eyes off the staff to find each note. So, for now we still have lots of drills that are higher priority (and that everyone will be able to use).

Actually, I am using a MIDI keyboard and the standalone program,
That's how I learned to play notes from real sheets :)

LOVE YOUR SITE! Stumbled across it a year ago and immediately marked it "favorite"--i have always wanted to learn to sight-read, and I believe this is the most practical and effective free(!) website in existence. I tell everyone about this site!

Someone may have suggested this already, but could you include some test features to track progress? A sort of "notes you missed most often" kind of thing a la Mavis Beacon typing software, along with some practice drills emphasizing that/those particular notes.
