Any suggestions about Guitar or just Piano

Hi, I am new to this forum. May be this is not the right thread to post this thread but I have a question.. I am a guitarist but all I can see is piano suggestions all over the forum. I have no knowledge about piano playing. Can I also learn piano ? thanks in advance for your suggestions.

This is a music theory forum. You can't learn piano, here. You can ask a theory question. Some people ask theory questions in relation to the instrument they play whether it's piano, guitar, ocarina or whatever.

You can certainly learn piano. In fact you must! It's much easier to understand how music works if you have a working model of it in your head, and the piano is the best working model of music there is. It's much more intuitive than the guitar in layout. Many good guitarists learned piano when they were children.

I have been a classical guitar player (amateur) for years and only started to appreciate music when I took theory lessons. the enjoyment was increased a hundredfold. The teacher used the piano. The notes are there all the time,all laid out in order, in front of you. You can actually see the chords and scales in front of you. The guitar does not have that "order" about it.
Learn theory,it's wonderful, and only on a piano.

I think it is better for you to get a coach or tutor, or even go to school for piano learners.

Each of the six strings on a regular guitar is a musical instrument. The guitar is six instruments in one. It is more complex than the piano. Any string can play a melody, yet the whole is a chord instrument.

I began studying theory with the guitar. But it is with the piano that I studied music foundation.
