If it can be of interest to you, base 12 can produce a musical staff that shows all twelve notes and takes no more space than the regular staff. This would allow anyone to read and write music immediately, without the need for sharps and flats. The current staff stifles and excludes 95 percent of music lovers. The pattern can also be applied to the piano keyboard with only slight modifications.
There is also a more advanced pattern for the musical staff and keyboard that makes use of the two whole tone scales.
